Welcome to my continuing adventures in photography…
This is a record of my MA Photography studies at the University of Brighton. I started this two-year, part-time course in September 2019 and am due to complete in Autumn 2021.
The aim of this course is for me to develop a strong and sustainable artistic practice and body of work that I can confidently exhibit and publish. This will give me a strong foundation for developing a career as an independent photographer and artist.
The course has a strong theoretical component, as the University of Brighton believes all students should understand how to conceptualise and contextualise their practice and communicate it clearly to a variety of audiences.
The university is committed to an exploratory and thoughtful form of picture-making that represents our experiences of the modern world.
This course is a continuation of my studies at RHACC (Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College) between 2015 and 2019. During my four inspiring years at this college, I completed the NCFE Levels1 & 2, BTEC Level 3 and HNC Photography courses, gaining a Distinction in the last two qualifications.
As part of these courses, I documented my progress, learning, successes, failures, frustrations & fantastic results in the blogs below.
